Simple, transparent rules for using Clydra.

1Acceptance & Eligibility
Service: Clydra is an AI-powered chat assistant. By accessing or using it, you agree to these terms and our privacy practices.
Eligibility: You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age in your country). If you use Clydra on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
Changes: We may update, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
2Accounts & Access
Account Info: Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
Security: You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe. Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
Suspension: We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or pose a security risk.
3Your Content & AI Output
Your Content: You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit it to operate and improve the service, including sharing it with our service providers.
AI Output: Responses are generated by AI and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Use your own judgment and verify important information.
Responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you upload and for how you use outputs. Outputs may not be unique.
4Privacy Summary
Here is a plain-language summary of how we handle data:
- Data we collect: account details, content you submit, files, usage and device/log data, and billing details (processed by Polar).
- How we use data: provide and improve the service, personalize results, support requests, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
- No sale: We do not sell personal data. We do not train AI models on your private content without permission, and we do not build or train our own models.
- Retention: We keep data as long as needed for the service and legal requirements. Backups may persist for a limited period.
- Your choices: You can request export or deletion of your data in Settings or by contacting us.
- Security: We use industry-standard safeguards (such as encryption in transit and at rest where supported), but no system is 100% secure.
- Cookies: We use essential cookies for login and security. We may use optional analytics cookies, which you can control in your browser.
- Legal requests: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
- Children: We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe this has happened, contact us for deletion.
Please avoid sharing highly sensitive information unless it is necessary for your request.
5Third-Party Services
We use vetted providers to deliver Clydra. Depending on the feature you use, we may share necessary data with:
- Authentication: Clerk (login & account management)
- Database & Storage: Supabase (conversations, files)
- AI Models: OpenRouter, DeepInfra (text generation)
- Image Generation: fal.ai (image creation & editing)
- Memory: Supermemory (context & knowledge storage)
- Payments: Polar (subscription billing)
These providers process data on our behalf to provide the service and are subject to their own privacy policies. Model providers may retain or review prompts for safety and abuse prevention as described in their policies.
6Google OAuth Limited Use Disclosure
Clydra's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Scopes We Request:
- Gmail (gmail.modify, gmail.send): Read, compose, send emails, and organize your inbox when you ask Clydra to help with email tasks.
- Google Calendar (calendar, calendar.events): View and manage calendar events when you ask Clydra to help with scheduling.
- Google Drive (drive, drive.file): Access, create, and edit files when you ask Clydra to help with documents.
- YouTube (youtube.readonly): View your YouTube data when you ask Clydra to analyze or reference videos.
- User Profile (userinfo.email, userinfo.profile): Identify your account for authorization purposes.
How We Use Google Data:
- Purpose: We access Google data only to fulfill your explicit requests (e.g., "send an email", "create a calendar event", "find files in Drive").
- On-Demand Access: We do not continuously sync or store your Google data. Access is requested only when you initiate an action.
- Minimal Retention: Content retrieved from Google APIs is processed in real-time to complete your request and is not permanently stored in our databases.
- No Advertising: We do not use Google user data for advertising purposes.
- No Sale: We do not sell Google user data to third parties.
- No Training: We do not use Google user data to train AI models.
Data Sharing:
- Google data may be transmitted to our AI model providers (OpenRouter, DeepInfra) solely to process and respond to your request.
- We do not share Google data with any other third parties for their own purposes.
Revoking Access:
You can disconnect Clydra from your Google account at any time by visiting Google Account Connections. Revoking access will immediately stop Clydra from accessing your Google data.
Limited Use Compliance: Clydra's use of data received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We limit our use of Google user data to providing or improving user-facing features that are prominent in Clydra's user interface.
7Usage Rules
Please use Clydra responsibly and in compliance with law.
- Prohibited Uses: Do not use Clydra to generate illegal content, malware, hate speech, or anything that promotes violence or harm.
- Security & Integrity: Do not scrape, reverse engineer, probe, or bypass rate limits or access controls.
- Respect Rights: Do not upload content you do not have rights to or personal data without permission.
- Plan Limits: Usage limits and feature access depend on your plan and are shown in the app.
8Payments & Cancellation
Billing: Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually). Taxes may apply.
Cancellation: You can cancel anytime in Settings. Access remains active until the end of the current billing period.
Refunds: Payments are generally non-refundable except where required by law. If there was a billing error, contact us and we will make it right.
Price Changes: We may update pricing with reasonable notice. Changes apply to the next billing cycle.
9Disclaimers & Liability
No Professional Advice: Clydra provides information only and is not a substitute for professional advice (legal, medical, financial, or otherwise).
AI Accuracy: Artificial Intelligence can make mistakes. Verify important information independently.
"As Is": The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep it running, but downtime may occur.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clydra and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event (or $100 if you are a free user).
Indemnity: You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these terms.
10Updates & Contact
Updates: We may revise these terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and update the "Last Updated" date. If changes are material, we will provide notice in-app or by email.
